Today we did an exercise to create a small command line application with Eclipse in Java.<\/p>\n

Steps to achieve goal:<\/p>\n

  1. Install and start Eclipse<\/li>\n
  2. Create new project<\/li>\n
  3. Create a package for Server and Client<\/li>\n
  4. Create an interface class<\/li>\n
  5. Create the ServerClass<\/li>\n
  6. Instantiate your dataContainer<\/li>\n
  7. Set up basic methods for get, list, and update your dataEntries<\/li>\n
  8. Set up a IOReader for the command client<\/li>\n
  9. Write methods for getting input and calling methods in the server<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
